Founded by four music lovers on a mission to improve the quality of listening at home, SONOS has always sought new ways to let audiences experience the full immersiveness of sound. This vision led to the creation of SONOS Home; a listening experience built inside a real, inspiring, and aspirational home designed to showcase what it means to listen deeply, freely, and together.

SONOS Home Amsterdam was conceived as a year-long pop-up in an iconic canal house in the heart of the Dutch capital. On some days, the space served as a realistic demo for press, retailers, and friends of the brand. For the rest of the year, our role was to transform it into a cultural platform by curating a multidisciplinary programme across music, film, art, wellness, and design that embodied the brand’s ethos of immersive sound. Drawing from SONOS’ mission to help people listen better, the space hosted events during key cultural moments such as ADE, International Women’s Day, and Record Store Day, alongside intimate experiences like sound baths, album listening sessions, and potluck dinners. We facilitated an array of sonic experiences with the likes of Joep Beving, Ceizer, Quentin Deronzier, Patrick Mordi, Sara Auster, SIROJ, Operator Radio and many more. By positioning SONOS as a site of culture and experience - rather than just a product - SONOS Home Amsterdam deepened engagement, nurtured community, and showed how sound truly lives beyond the speaker.
