De La Soul is one of the most influential groups in Hip-Hop history, bar none. However, for the longest time, a big part of De La Soul's discography has been absent from streaming platforms due to a decades-long dispute with their former record label Tommy Boy. After Tommy Boy was acquired by Reservoir Media last year, the label’s new owners publicly pledged to work with the group to resolve these issues and finally get the music on streaming services. Today on March 3, 2023, the albums have finally arrived, just weeks following the unfortunate passing of De La-member Trugoy the Dove, and exactly 34 years after the release of their classic debut "3 Feet High and Rising".
